Evgeny Nazaretski

Physicist, NSLS-II Experimental Facilities Division

Dr. Nazaretski joined NSLS-II in 2009. He got his PhD in Physics at the University of Bayreuth in Germany followed by a Postdoctoral appointment at Cornell University. He continued his research as a Director's Postdoctoral Fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory finally becoming a Staff Scientist.

At NSLS-II Evgeny is leading a technical program targeting development of new methods, techniques and approaches suitable for achieving nm-scale spatial resolution x-ray imaging.

Dr. Nazaretski is a recipient of Brookhaven Engineering Award, Microscopy Today Innovation Award, R&D100 Award and LI Innovator of the Year Award.
