Christie Nelson


Christie Nelson’s research interests include strongly correlated electron systems and magnetic materials. She uses a variety of x-ray scattering techniques to study phenomena in these materials such as charge, orbital, and magnetic ordering; metal-insulator transitions; and multiferroic behavior. Christie is the lead beamline scientist for the Integrated In-Situ and Resonant X-ray Studies (ISR) beamline, 4-ID, at NSLS-II.
