Maksim Rakitin


Maksim Rakitin, Ph.D. is a research associate at NSLS-II, BNL. His scientific interests are in software development in the fields of condensed matter physics and physical optics. He got his Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics in 2012 at South Ural State University, Chelyabinsk, Russia. From 2013 to 2015 he was a postdoctoral associate at Stony Brook University before joining Brookhaven National Laboratory in December 2015. Current software projects - SRW and Sirepo (see links below).
