Evgeny Nazaretski

Physicist, NSLS-II Experimental Facilities Division


Dr. Nazaretski joined NSLS-II in August 2009. Upon completion of his PhD in Physics at the University of Bayreuth in Germany Dr. Nazaretski joined Cornell University as a Postdoctoral Fellow.

Prior to BNL, Evgeny worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) as a Director's Postdoctoral Fellow and finally as a Staff Scientist. At LANL his research was primarily focused on magnetic resonance force microscopy, high resolution magnetic force microscopy, imaging and scanning probe techniques.

At BNL Evgeny is working on development of new techniques and approaches suitable for achieving nm-scale spatial resolution for x-ray scanning experiments in the hard x-ray regime.
