Interim User Administration Manager


Coming from the DOE Brookhaven Area Office, Gretchen joined the NSLS in October 2000. Since coming to the NSLS Gretchen has moved through all the ranks of the User Office to become the Deputy User Administrator and is currently the Interim User Administrator.

In this role, Gretchen oversees and manages the daily activities of the User Administration Office (UA). The UA office performs many user-related functions, including processing user proposals, registrations and appointments; initiating and coordinating memorandum of understandings and agreements between the NSLS and participating research teams; data and statistical gathering and reporting; coordinating the Annual Users' Meeting as well as several annual, international, and primary workshops, UEC and Town meetings; and providing support to the NSLS Users Executive Committee.
Gretchen has a B.S. in Organizational Management, and an M.B.A from St. Joseph's College, New York.
