Christie Nelson

Physicist

Christie Nelson’s research interests include correlated electron systems and magnetic materials. She uses a variety of x-ray scattering techniques to study phenomena in these materials such as charge, orbital, and magnetic ordering; metal-insulator transitions; and multiferroic behavior. Christie is the beamline leader for the Integrated In-Situ and Resonant Studies (ISR) beamline at NSLS-II. ISR is anticipated to become operational in 2017.
