Elio Vescovo

Physicist

Elio is the spokesperson for Beamline U5UA&B. This is an undulator beamline, producing linearly polarized light and covering the photon energy range between 20 to 200 eV. The light is shared by two end-stations disposed in series (A&B). The first (A) is dedicated to spin- and angular-resolved photoemission spectroscopy; the second (B) to LEEM and PEEM microscopy. The spot size is 0.5 mm and 20 microns at end-stations A and B, respectively.
