Principal Human Resources Representative
Peter joined the project in June 2007, and is mainly responsible for the recruitment and retention of a highly qualified and motivated scientific staff. In addition, he is responsible for tracking job shopper hires and providing monthly staffing updates for the NSLS-II Progress Report.
Peter joined the Laboratory in 1985 as a Human Resources Representative in what was then known as the Employment Group.
Prior to Brookhaven, he held various corporate Human Resources positions at Federated Department Stores and General Instrument Corporation’s Microelectronics and Defense Systems Divisions.
After spending two years in the Employment Group, Peter transferred to the Salary Administration Group with responsibility for consultant market salary survey analysis, bargaining unit wage analysis, DOE salary expenditure reporting, and the development of salary and wage graphics for Laboratory management.
